Some characters are incorrect in table entries after importing a csv file

Problem

You added entries in a accounting table using the import csv file option.
All characters are correct in the csv file but some are incorrect (Cyrillic or accented characters for example) in the Composer interface and in the mvt.mvt file.



Resolution

The encoding of the csv file must be UTF-8.
It is possible to change the encoding using Notepad: Go to File > Save As... and choose UTF-8 under Encoding:, press Save and overwrite the existing file. Close the file.
