Problem

When upgrading from Track & Trace 3.4.0 SP5 to Track & Trace 4.0.0, a failure occurs when starting the Track & Trace server:

...

ERROR : Migration of schema \"TNT340\" to version 4.0.0.0.1 - V4.0 update 20170310 failed! Please restore backups and roll back database and code!
ERROR : Flyway-setBaselineAndMigrate(): migration error -> restore database, fix errors and try again
ERROR : Flyway-migrateDatabase(): database migrate error -> stop the server
...

Resolution

To avoid this problem, you must do the following steps:

- make a backup of the database before migrating

- perform the migration procedure from Track & Trace 3.4.0 SP5 to Track & Trace 4.x.x

- before starting the Track & Trace server execute the attached SQL script "script_pb_mig_340SP5_40.sql"

- start Track & Trace server
