B2Bi client unable to connect if plain HTTP UI port is disabled

Problem

-- User unable to log into B2Bi tools client, TSclient, B2Bi System Manager

-- Error on client: "System not available yet"

-- Error in Integrator trace: "Could not connect to system. Please check if the system is fully started"

-- The plain HTTP port/server for the B2Bi UI (default port 6080) has been disabled

-- Only the HTTPS port/server for the B2Bi UI is enabled (Default 6443)


Resolution

The solution is to enable the default HTTP port for the UI again:

  1. Log into the UI
  2. Go to "System Management"
  3. Related Task -> "Configure UI connection"
  4. Enable "UI connections made via HTTP"
