Problem

-- The Interchange/trading engine EDI splitter is being used (EDI splitter enabled on the exchange point)

-- Received file contains multiple interchanges of different formats (X12, EDIFACT, and TRADACOM)

-- Only first few interchanges are split correctly, rest are being discarded

Resolution

The EDI splitter used by the trading engine on an exchange point does support splitting of X12, EDIFACT or TRADACOM interchanges. However it does not support splitting of files containing different types of interchanges.

It will only split files correctly that include one type (X12, EDIFACT, or TRADACOM)

Any data that does not belong to the expected type (usually the first type encountered) will be discarded
