Is NTLM and NTLMv2 authentication method is supported with B2Bi?

Problem

Is NTLM and NTLMv2 is supported with B2Bi 2.1.0 to authenticate to Active Directory?

Resolution

B2Bi can authenticate by its own authentication mechanism or by using Passport AM. . B2Bi has no option to directly connect any LDAP server like Active Directory etc. It is the Passport (connected with B2Bi) responsibility to get response and authenticate to active directory or LDAP server.


So, it should be checked at Passport end if the mentioned authentication method is supported or not to authenticate LDAP server or active directory.

Note:

Passport 4.6.0.11.0 do not support NTLM/NTLMv2 authentication method. Related KB-article- https://support.axway.com/kb/178689
