Connection to ICAP server times out when sending OPTIONS request
Problem
When setting up a new ICAP server, the connection always times out right after it sends an OPTIONS request.
Resolution
This usually happens when the service URLs for the ICAP server are improperly configured. By default, the gateway tries to use /options but this is not standardized, so the ICAP server may put the OPTIONS service on any path. The same is true for REQMOD and RESPMOD, which may be on any number of vendor-specific paths, such as /avscan or /REQ-Service. In general, it is necessary to contact the vendor to find the proper paths to invoke each service as most ICAP vendors do not appear to provide clear documentation.
