Problem

Unable to migrate from CFT 3.2.2 to CFT 3.3.2 SP3.

CFT is adding the records numbering from JCLs to the dataset name

CFT no longer work with JCL or file set with numbering

Resolution

The TSOEDIT option allows to work with or without only the numbering sequence.

This option is part of the SGINSTAL module.

It can be set from UCONF, using the variable: id=cft.mvs.sginstal.tsoedit, value=yes

Or the option can be set using the A12OPTS JCL

Previous version of the SGINSTAL module are compatible and can be copied to the new loadlib if needed.

When upgrading, ensure the needed options are set (UCONF or SGINSTAL) or simply copy the SGINSTAL module from the old to the new CFT loadlib.
