Problem

Using Amazon S3 in a non public cloud.

For CFT, workingdir field must start with s3:// and be followed by the bucketname, then the region, separated by a period: s3://bucketname.region.

But with S3 in a non public cloud, there is no region available?

Resolution

Currently, CFT supports only the Amazon S3 storage on Amazon Cloud.

If support of other blob storage through the S3 protocol is needed, it needs to be requested from a Customer Enhancement Request.
