Problem

Due to the expiration of the validity of certain conditions in the Designer's configuration (01.01.2020), user actions in the Designer UI are no longer possible:

• open collections (Formats, Settings, Editors, Libraries, Dictionaries)
• import zip configurations
• load saved configuration

Common error: There are no valid Editors for this Collection or you may not have the right permissions.

The problem is in the default Designer configuration ([install_dir]/AIS/Extra/settings/serverConfiguration) where certain conditions have expired.

Resolution

1. Make a backup copy of the [install_dir]/AIS/Extra/ folder from the existing installation
2. Copy the content of the attached zip (hotfix.zip) into the [install_dir]/AIS/ folder using "replace existing files"
3. Go to [install_dir]/AIS/Repository/, open the Repository console and run the command:

   setupDesigner

4. Go to [install_dir]/AIS/Designer/extra/Tools/ and run the command:

   ant updateServerConfiguration

*Note: On Designer 2.1.0 the AIS/ folder is called AISuite/
