API Transaction Definition

“API Transaction” means the following events with respect to the processing of a Message Object, except any Health Checks:

1. each Environment that a Message Object originates in;
2. each Environment that a Message Object passes through; and
3. each Environment that a Message Object terminates in.

Number of API Transactions counted for Subscription reporting

The following types of transactions are included in the number of API Transactions per month:

All successful API Transactions;

API Transactions allowed but blocked by threat detection;

API Transactions blocked by quota functions; and

Unauthorized API Transactions.

The following types of transaction are excluded from the number of API Transactions per month:

Health checks (system and recommended);

Transactions from non-production environments.
