Perform search in APIM Release notes

Customers of API Management (APIM) One version v7.7 (API Gateway, API Manager, API Portal), now can make more granular searches in the Axway documentation portal by filtering by Release Notes.

Search URL preselected with the release notes

The following is a direct URL with Product = API Management and Content type = Release notes preselected. From there, just add the term you're looking for in the search box, and click Enter to complete the search.

Use case

When updating your API Gateway installation, you must always check the Release notes of the update you wish to upgrade too.

For more information, see APIM list of all release notes.

Moreover, you might want to check what has changed for a particular feature across different releases. In this case, instead of searching the entire documentation bundle, you can find the information in the Release notes pages.

Search from API Management docs

For example, if you wish to know what has changed around 'oauth' throughout all APIM releases:

1. Go to Axway API Management documentation.
2. Type oauth in the search box.
3. Click the Filter dropdown, and from the Content Type column, then check the Release notes option.
4. Click the search icon, or press enter to search.

For example, if you wish to search for 'oauth' in APIM Release notes from the main documentation site - https://docs.axway.com/

1. Type oauth in the search box.
2. Click the Product dropdown, and select API Management.
3. Click the search icon, or press enter to search.
   • Note that the result page shows 114 results.
4. Click the Filter dropdown, and from the Content Type column, then check the Release notes option.
5. Click the search icon, or press enter to search.
6. Note that now, the result page shows 20 results.

• Type the search term, and select product = API Management
