Problem

When updating Transfer CFT using Flow Manager, the update shows completed on the FM UI; however, the Transfer CFT is not updated.

In the copupd logs, the update shows completed with no errors. After checking the install.log file, it was found that CFT gets installed in a different directory.

Resolution

When CFT is updated using Flow Manager, the cft.synchrony_dir UCONF parameter's value is used as CFT's installation directory. If the CFT's installation directory and the cft.synchrony_dir UCONF value are different, the update will show as successful in FM UI but will be installed in the cft.synchrony_dir directory.

Hence, to resolve the issue and successfully update CFT using FM, you need to set the cft.synchrony_dir UCONF value to the CFT's installation directory.
