We have been given a CFT key for testing purposes which works fine on machine 1 but not on machine 2. It comes up with the error 'CFT error - usage expired'.

Problem

After putting the new license key, CFT is not started.

Resolution

Please follow the steps:

-- Put the key in the CFT configuration file (cft-tcp.conf) used.

cftparm id = IDPARM0,
key = JI6FAKZI61S2FMN9CQV6MUCIYIY97JI4YAGW1S2E7,

-- Initialize CFT by using the command,
cftinit cft-tcp.conf

-- Start CFT by using the command "cftstart"
