Invalid key code 34 KEY_MALFORMED

The same license key works from version 3.0.1 to 3.5

The key has been decoded and Axway Support confirmed that it should work even for CFT 3.6

Resolution

This message corresponds to incorrect key decryption. (related to extended license checking from CFT 3.6)

It is due to the way the key was generated: without edition.

If the key is generated with an edition like Endpoint edition, Standard edition or Advanced edition, the key works fine.

No other way to fix the issue than to ask for a new license key.
