AV and Anti-Spam pattern updates fail
Problem
MailGate fails to update the Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam patterns.
Resolution
MailGate fails to update the Anti-Virus/Anti-Spam patterns.
Resolution
1. Go to Admin UI -> Administration -> Updates
2. Click on 'Test connection'
3. If step.2 fails, check your proxy server settings - go to Admin UI -> Administration -> Appliance
4. If no proxy is used and/or no direct connection from the MailGate appliance to the update server is available - you may utilize a proxy server in the corporate network to allow the appliance to pull pattern updates.
