# This error occurs when Passport does not allow the kind of encyrption algorithm that Gateway wants to use. Gateway 6.12.2 does not support FIPS integration with Passport & hence when used with Passport enabled with FIPS keys the described error messages are thrown. To resolve the issue, use alternative keys for Passport that are not FIPS enabled.
