-- In disconnected mode the only option to remove something from the server is to remove the complete container, including the associated Synchrony Server configuration.

Whereas in connected mode, it is possible to remove part of the container (Business Document, Map Stage, ...).

This difference explains why objects can be removed from server without stopping the tasks in connected mode, whereas it is not possible in disconnected mode.
