Automatic update of the Server fails during installation on a cluser - error - Cannot rename file

Problem

-- During the installation of Sentinel Server on a cluster, it ends with the automatic update - SP2 installation.



The update fails and the error message below can be retrieved in install.log file:
ERROR : Cannot rename file: the destination file /var/opt/axway/synchrony/Tools/apache-tomcat/webapps//SentinelMonitoring.war already exists

Resolution

-- For installation from DVD or without installation package modification:
  1. run the installation
  2. the automatic update fails
  3. update Sentinel using the SP4 or newer SP




-- Follow the procedure in order to avoid the error message to appear:



   1. create the installation package
   2. access to the folder <package location>/Components/Sentinel_V3.5.0/Updates
   3. remove the file Sentinel_3.5.0_SP2_allOS_BN1103311018.jar
   4. download the latest Sentinel SP (SP4 or more recent) available from the support website
   5. update Sentinel with this SP instead of the SP2
