Information about messages that have not completed their processing is available on the side pane but both Open and Delete options are grayed out.

The only way to purge history for pending messages is by deleting the .sdf file which could be found as follows:

1. In XP - Documents and Settings\User_Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Axway\File Transfer Direct\ FileTransferDirectDatabase.sdf

2. In Windows 7 - User\AppData\Local\Axway\File Transfer Direct\ FileTransferDirectDatabase.sdf

Since this database file contains information for all messages, the whole data from the side pane will be removed but the messages themslves are still preserved in the MessageStore (in .msg format) and MessageBodyStore subfolders (as .html and .txt files).
