BAI2 general implementation procedure
Prerequisites
Install the following products:
- Composer and the Integrator Composer Enabler
- An instance of the Integrator Server
In Composer, create the basic set of communication objects:
- Host
- CommNetwork
- Axway Server to represent the Integrator Server
- Axway Server to represent Gateway if you are using Gateway transport services
- Application or Partner objects to represent back-end applications or remote partners
- Channels to link Integrator to back-end applications and remote partners
Implementation
- Import files and objects from the FEX installation package:
- Copy the files JMC_SFEX_BAI2_Receive.jar and JMC_SFEX_BAI2_Send.jar from the FEX installation package to the $CORE_ROOT/local/java/component/swift directory of the Integrator Server.
- Copy the file sfex_att_bai2.s4h to the $CORE_ROOT/local/config/attribute directory of the Integrator Server. This is necessary only if you intend to override message attributes.
- Import the BAI2 Business-Document to Composer.
- Import the BAI2 Example Integration-Process to Composer.
- Using the Copilot Component Registry tool, register the two JMCs.
- View procedure
- In Copilot, commit the changes.
- View procedure
- In Composer, execute an Import Object Set command on the Axway Server object that represents the Integrator Server.
- View procedure
- In Composer, create or modify an Integration-Process to define a Generic Creator Stage (BAI2 Send) or a Generic Modifier Stage (BAI2 Receive) inside the process flow.
- View example procedure
- In Composer, create or modify an Integration-Task to link the Integration-Process configuration to the processes on the execution server.
- For each BAI2 Modifier or Creator Stage, select the appropriate BAI2 JMC.
- For Send and Receive Activities, select Channels.

- Send the object set to a production server.
