Stopping Axway Sentinel Event Router

Prerequisite

Check that the Sentinel Event Router is running.

Stopping the Event Router

UNIX

Go to <Event Router install directory>/bin
Launch the program
../conf/profile.
In the same session, enter
./agtcmd -stop

Windows non-service mode

Do one of the following:

Use the Windows menu

From the desktop Start menu, select All Programs > Axway Software > Synchrony Axway EventRouter> SentinelEventRouter > Stop Event Router

Use the shutdown script

Go to <Event Router install directory>\conf and launch the program profile.
Then launch the script:
agtstop.bat

Windows service mode

You can configure the Sentinel Event Router to run as a Windows service. This causes the application to start and stop with the computer.

If you need to stop the Sentinel Event Router without stopping Windows:

From Start menu, select Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services.
Windows displays the Services window.
Scroll down the Services list and right-click the Axway Sentinel Event Router service.
From the context menu, select Stop.
