Importing Custom-Functions to Composer
Before you begin
If you already have one or more Custom-Functions defined on your platform, rename any existing Custom-Function files that might potentially be overwritten by an installation or update procedure to avoid destroying the older versions.
Importing Java Custom-Functions
- In the FEX installation package, navigate to the following directory:
- Software\CF\Jar Files
- This directory contains the following jar files:
- axway_fex_customfunction_checkDigit.jar
- axway_fex_customfunction_HEXToAscii.jar
- axway_fex_customfunction_isKeyBic.jar
- axway_fex_customfunction_swCheckBic2.jar
- axway_fex_customfunction_updateBic.jar
- Stop the Integrator Server and then copy these jar files to both of the following locations:
- <Integrator installation directory>\local\config\runtime\mappingcomponent\running\Generated\Function\java
- <Integrator installation directory>\java\dmlfunctions
- Start the Integrator Server.
- In the FEX installation package, navigate to the following directory:
- Software\CF\XML Files
- This directory contains the following files:
- checkdigit.xml
- hextoascii.xml
- iskeypresentbic.xml
- swcheck_bic2.xml
- update_bic_table.xml
- getbicinbdf.xml
- iskeypresentbicinbdf.xml
- Import the Custom-Functions into Composer.
- During import, choose the option Update the folder structure. This avoids several instances of the same Custom-Function.
