Migrating from EBICS Client to Electronic Signature 2.9
Introduction
In this version of FEX, the EBICS Client and Electronic Signature products have been merged together.
This topic explains how to migrate from EBICS Client to Electronic Signature 2.9.
License key
Make sure you have the appropriate license key for Electronic Signature.
- If you are migrating from EBICS Client to Electronic Signature T mode, you must request a license key with Transport mode.
- If you are migrating from EBICS Client to Electronic Signature TS mode, you must request a license key with Transport and Signature mode.
Migration procedure
- Stop EBICS Client.
- Install Electronic Signature 2.9. For details, refer to Installing Electronic Signature.
- Configure the newly-installed Electronic Signature using the same values as the old installation (update the EBICS Client and Secure Relay parts.).
- Go to the directory: <electronic signature 2.8 installation directory>\bin.
- Start the new installed Electronic Signature 2.8.
- Run the migrationTool script with the options -dir (the EBICS Client path) and -v (the EBICS Client version)
- On Windows: migrationTool.bat -dir -v
- On UNIX: migrationTool.sh -dir -v
- Copy the SSL certificates from <EBICS client installation directory>\data\certs to the <electronic signature 2.8 installation directory>\data\certs.
- Copy the PDF initialization letters from <EBICS client installation directory>\data\ini_letters to the <electronic signature 2.8 installation directory>\data\ini_letters.
