LDAP import - query screen doesn't retrieve all groups (Lotus Notes)

LDAP import - query screen doesn't retrieve all groups (Lotus Notes)

Symptom:

When creating a new Query for LDAP import from Lotus Notes, or when editing an existing one, the list of Groups available on the LDAP server is not complete.

Detailed Information:

EMF retrieves this list from the Notes server via LDAP. EMF does not sort the list, but rather displays it as returned by Lotus Notes.

Resolution:

Lotus Notes LDAP documentation recommends setting up a Full Text Index for performance reasons. If the index is not current/correct, the LDAP query may miss data.

Delete and re-add the full text index on the Domino server.

Additional Info:

Other things to check:

Check to make sure the Domino server is not set to limit the number or type of groups that are available to LDAP queries.

If using Anonymous rather than Authenticated connection, make sure the Domino server is set to permit Anonymous access to the missing groups.
