SQL Server error when viewing mail databases taskpad

SQL Server error when viewing mail databases taskpad

Summary:

When trying to view the Taskpad for the EMFMail database (to view data space allocation and other database information), a script error comes up.

Symptom:

Trying to view the Taskpad produces the following dialog box:

An error has occurred in the script on this page.
Line: 307
Char: 2
Error: Unexpected error.
Code: 0
URL: res://C:\Program%20Files\Microsoft%20SQL%20Server\80\Tools\Binn\Resources\1033\sqlmmc.rll/Tabs.html

Detailed Information:

After clicking OK to dismiss the dialog box, the page shows up with blank (default) values for the size bars and other information that should be displayed.

Resolution:

This is a known issue with SQL Server 2000. There is currently no fix available for this, but a recommended workaround is to change the database view to something else (such as Large Icons) and then back to Taskpad. That should get things working correctly until the next time Windows is restarted.
