Setting MMS 5.x and EMF 6.x to download Virus updates from an alternate FTP server

Summary:
My company doesn't allow FTP downloads from the MMS (EMF) server.
Can I configure MMS (EMF) to download the pattern files from another server?
Detailed Information:
The recommended process is to set up an internal FTP server and copy the latest dat-####.zip file from ftp://download.tumbleweed.com/antivirus to your internal FTP server, then make a change via SQL Enterprise Manager on the MMS (EMF) database to tell MMS (EMF) to download from your internal server rather than from download.tumbleweed.com.
Note: If you have more than one SQL Server with an MMSMail (EMFMail) database, you will need to make the changes one time on each database.
Resolution:
The change is as follows:
1. In Enterprise Manager, expand the MMSMail (EMFMail) database, and select the Tables folder.
2. In the right-hand pane, highlight the DownloadSvcConfigValues table, right-click, and select Open Table/Return All Rows
3. Find the FTP Server row, and edit the ansiStringValue column to change download.tumbleweed.com to the hostname or IP address of your internal FTP server
4. Find the FTP Directory row, and edit the ansiStringValue column to change /antivirus to the correct path on your FTP server (path should be from the anonymous FTP logon root)
5. Restart the MMS (EMF) Download Service
6. In Web Admin, go to Setup/Virus, and click "Update Pattern File Now"
7. Check the MMS (EMF) Event log to verify that that the update was successful.
Once the database changes have been made (steps 1-5), future updates can be done by copying the newer dat-####.zip files to the internal FTP server and repeating just steps 6 and 7 above.
