VA - Troubleshooting Validation Authority
Summary
What actions should be taken before raising a Validation Authority case with support?
Details
When submitting a request to Axway support, please do the following:
- Login to the Validation Authority admin UI
- Navigate to Logs | Log Settings
- Click on Generate Debug Logs
- Click Submit
- Click on the restart link
- Click on Stop Server
- Click on Start Server
- Reproduce the issue 3-5 times and note the time of reproduction.
- Upload the following files to a Secure Transport account provided by support:
- valicert.ini
- vastats.csv
- va_stdout & va_stdout.txt (if they exist)
- All files from the Logs folder from after turning on debug logs
- Let support know that the files have been uploaded for review.
