Is Central Governance compliant with Veritas Cluster?

Problem

Is Central Governance compliant with Veritas Cluster?

Resolution

Currently, we do not have a test plan for CG on a Veritas Cluster / VCS.

The only 'officially' supported cluster installation are as stated in our documentation:

"If you are installing with the Axway Installer on Linux computers and you are clustering, Red Hat Cluster Suite 2.0.52 is supported for cluster management and Red Hat Linux Enterprise 5.9 and 6 are the supported 64-bit operating system:
Both nodes in an active-passive cluster must run on a computer that uses a supported version of Red Hat Enterprise Linux. Clustering is supported only on Linux."

It doesn't mean it will not work with Veritas Cluster as long as we stay in the active/passive configuration.

In that case, fail-over scripts, when needed, are the customer’s responsibility.

Installing CG on any other clustering architecture than what is stated in our documentation become the customer’s responsibility.

Non Axway compliant cluster installation should be managed without clustering in mind at the Axway Installer level.

There is no warning to prevent a CG installation on a VM or on a Share that will be managed by Veritas Cluster for the fail-over operations.

Support will be of course provided as normal (excluding fail-over consideration).
