Problem

The release notes for 5.12 SP4-SP8 show the following:

Console mode

• UNIX: setupUNIX.sh Update InstMode Console
• Windows: setupWin32 Update InstMode Console

Resolution

For 5.12 we actually only need run the 'update.sh' / 'update.exe' or 'update64.sh' / 'update64.exe' (operating system dependent) and then follow the normal necessary steps. The update script when ran in a console environment automatically remains in console mode.
