Problem

Secure Relay is launched but then it stops with the below java exception:

Caused by: java.net.SocketException: EDC5111I Permission denied.
at sun.nio.ch.Net.listen(Native Method)
at sun.nio.ch.ServerSocketChannelImpl.bind(Unknown Source)
at sun.nio.ch.ServerSocketAdaptor.bind(UnknownSource)

Resolution

For that reported issue, the customer was invited to open a ticket @ IBM

The issue get resolved, the root cause was a TCP/IP parameter blocking port binding operation.

No detail about what parameter has been changed at time of writing that article.
