CFTF23E file space allocation exhausted 80000B37 after the partner upgraded to 3.2.4

Problem

CFTF23E file space allocation exhausted 80000B37

The same transfer was working just fine before the partner upgraded to 3.2.4 SP2

Resolution

From 3.2.4, the default value for the FLRECL (when Variable or Undefined file format) has changed from 512 to 4096.

This change has been made to enhance the transfer performance with binary files.

This change can lead to a B37 issue when sending a variable file from Unix or Windows to a z/os CFT defined with a FRECFM=F in the CFTRECV macro.

The workaround is to set the FLRECL to 512 (the old default value) in the CFTSEND or at SEND command level.
