Problem

COPILOT not APF Authorized.

Copilot logon is not verified and login is accepted.

No Specific indication of warning or error message is displayed.

Resolution

To check USER ID / PASSWORD, the libraries must be APF authorized, it is mandatory in zOS.

To prevent COPILOT or CFT SERVER to start if the libraries are not APF, you can set uconf variables below:

cft.mvs.monitor.check_apf

and

cft.mvs.copilot.check_apf

When set to yes, COPILOT / CFT MONITOR will not to start when the loadlib is not APF authorized.
