Problem

An overall low transfer rate is observed with Transfer CFT on iSeries

Protocol tuning has been done but the performances remains quite low

Resolution

There is many things to be reviewed for transfer optimization like the sessions number, checkpoints interval, network buffer size and more....

Tuning the subsystem may be also required in regards of the CFT configuration to ensure the needed resources are available.

A new chapter has been added in the Transfer CFT Installation Guide, please check for 'Performance optimization' where details are provided in order to tune the subsystem accordingly to your Transfer CFT settings.
