Secure Client 6.4: Incorrect time for files older than 6 months

Problem

Sometimes after Secure Client (SC) 6.1.0 SP3 is upgraded to Secure Client 6.4.0 files and folders older than 6 months might show incorrect time (00:00:00) in SC GUI. Following the steps below will fix the issue and correct time will be visible again.

Resolution

After upgrading to SC 6.4:



  1. Start SC in GUI mode
  2. Go to Preferences
  3. Go to Date Patterns
  4. At the end of the date patterns column list add new entry:

    yyyy MMM dd HH:mm

    or

    MMM dd yyyy


  5. Save changes
  6. Restart SC and verify time is shown correctly
