On MVS while receiving a big file , the transfer may get aborted with B37 abend message.

We may encounter this problem due to various reasons.Following are some of teh reasons:

First you should apply the lastest service pack available for the version

Verify the value of MAXPRIM in the GENDEB and specify high value for this parameter as you are sending a large file.

And also verify the space available on the volume,may be due to another job had datasets allocated on the volume or the dataset already had 16 extents but required more space.
