An Axway Server object corresponds to the run-time part of a Axway product installed on a given Host. A Axway Server can correspond to any of the following:
The method used to configure a Axway Server object depends on the product. For example, in the case of Transfer CFT, you cannot define a new Axway Server inside Composer. Instead, you must use the CFT Wizard to import the existing configuration of the Transfer CFT Servers deployed throughout your organization.
On the other hand, for the Axway ProcessManager or Axway Integrator products, you can define the Server parameters inside Composer, as described next.
The properties of the Axway Server also depend on the type of Server that you select. For example, if you select a Transfer CFT type Server, an additional set of fields is added to each tab on the Axway Serverwindow and a Transfer CFT-specific tab is added.
In addition, you must define the parameters required to connect to the Broadcast Agent. The Broadcast Agent manages all Broadcast operations on the Server.
