Detailed Information:
Manually uninstalling MMS 5.0

Whenever possible, the Windows "Add and Remove Programs" utility should be used. Manual uninstall is a last resort.

1. Log out of MMS Web Admin, and stop all MMS services from the Control Panel.

2. Using Windows Explorer, remove the files: ..\Tumbleweed\MMS\*
3. Remove the following registry key: HKLM\SOFTWARE\Tumbleweed\MMS.
4. Remove MMS services' keys from HLKM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services.
5. Remove the "ResinSRun" key from HLKM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services.
6. Remove the registry key: HLKM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{131CB5B9-30B7-4AAA-8091-7CAB180E9C72}.

In addition, do the following to remove web admin related files and references:

7. Remove ..\Inetpub\wwwroot\mmsadmin, viewer, and WEB-INF directories.
8. Delete isapi_srun.dll in the directory: ..\Inetpub\scripts.
9. In the Registry, remove HLKM\SOFTWARE\Caucho Technology\*
10. Open Internet Services Manager, right-click on the WWW server name, select Properties, Edit the WWW Service Master Properties, select the ISAPI Filter tab, and remove the Resin ISAPI Filter.

If you intend to reinstall and wish to keep your MMS configuration data, skip to step 15. When you reinstall, make sure to only reinstall the same version that you have uninstalled to avoid a database schema mismatch.

Use SQL Server Enterprise Manager for steps 11-14:

11. Delete the MMSMail database (this will cause all MMS data and configuration information to be permanently lost).
12. Remove SQL Server Agent jobs related to MMS.
13. Remove mmsXpSendMail from the master database Extended Stored Procedures.
14. Remove MMS related database logins.

See the MMSMail Administrators Guide section 3.7 for more information on steps 11-14.

IMPORTANT: You cannot simply uninstall SQL in place of steps 11-14. Steps 11-14 MUST be done, and then SQL can be optionally uninstalled as well.

15. Reboot the box.
