Information on Enabling/Disabling DV as the CAPI provider in the Windows Registry
Details
When installing DV the default revocation provider changes from Microsoft to Desktop Validator. Due to installation issues in older versions, it may sometimes be necessary to validate these registry settings. You can also enable and disable DV within DV itself. To enable or disable DV you can do the following:
- Open Desktop Validator
- Click on General Tab
- Check or uncheck Use Tumbleweed DV as CAPI revocation provider to enable or disable DV
