DV - Troubleshooting Desktop Validator
Summary
What actions should be taken before raising a Desktop Validator case with support?
Details
When submitting a request to Axway Support, please do the following:
- Open Desktop Validator from the Start Menu or System Tray
- Click on the Logging tab
- Enable File Logging
- Select All
- Click OK (DV will restart)
- Reproduce the issue 3-5 times and note the time of reproduction.
- Export the DV configuration file in text format by going to the Import/Export
- Upload the following files to the Secure Transport account provided by support:
- DesktopValidator.log
- DV configuration
- Let support know that the files have been uploaded for review.
