Release emails to a third user

Problem

In the drop-down menu on the Message Tracking screen there is the option to change the disposition of e-mails that have been tagged as Junk and Bulk.
Among the options are "Release to User" and "Send to Administrator." Is it possible to redirect to a different user?


Resolution

In order to resend messages to a specific account, it is needed to either change the MG administrator account with the one that should receive the spam messages or implement the following setup:



1. Change the Default Anti-Spam policy to only tag messages but not quarantine them
2. Create a policy to quarantine all messages with Bulk and Junk tags and add a recipient
3. Add the recipient as an exclusion to the quarantine policy.



Here is a sample policy summary:



IF:
contains any of the tags: 'Bulk','Confidence High','Confidence Low','Confidence Moderate','Junk','Junk: Adult Content','Junk: Possible Scam','Spam'



EXCEPT IF: sent to any of the addresses: analyst@analyst.com



THEN: quarantine message and add the recipients To: analyst@analyst.com
