How to migrate transfer sites between two SecureClient instances or users?

Resolution

These are the steps to migrate the transfer sites (all of them, or just a part):

1. Navigate to your user account's AppData/Roaming/axway/SecureClient/data/site folder. This folder contains the files that hold the configuration for each transfer site separately. The name of each file corresponds to the transfer site.

2. Select the files (transfer sites) you want to migrate, and copy them to the same folder under the other instance or user account.

3. At the destination (to which you copied the files in the previous step), go up one directory, to the Application Data/axway/SecureClient/data, and open the site.db file in a text editor.

4. For each transfer site you copied in step 2, add a line to this file that contains the exact name of the file. Note that there should be only one transfer site per line of this file. The order in which the items are listed will be the order in which they appear in the SecureClient GUI. Then save the file. (Alternatively, you could copy the list from the source site.db file, and delete the entries for sites that you didn't migrate.)

NOTE: Make the above modifications only when SecureClient is not running. After the modifications are made, start up SecureClient, and the transfer sites list should be populated with the new sites.
