command SNDCFTF is no longer working

SNDCFTF is still provided in 313 SP11 but appears not usable?

CFTUIMMSGF is no longer delivered as it was in version 2.4.1

Resolution

Indeed, the 'SNDCFTF' and 'SNDCFTSPLF' programs are obsolete and have been removed them from the OS400 package.

Both programs call CFTUIMMSGF file (that is no longer delivered).

CFTUTIL PART=&IDPART, IDF=&IDF, FNAME=&LIB/&FILE(&MBR)

# SNDCFTSPLF: Program to send a SPOOL file

CFTUTIL PART=&IDPART,IDF=&IDF, FNAME=&FILE/&SPLNBR/&TRAVAIL/&JOBNBR

Conclusion:

We recommend to use standard command as CFTUTIL to send a physical file and spool file.

The related programs are obsolete and may be the root cause of errors.

Use CFTUTIL instead, delivery and documentation will be updated to remove all references to those depreciated programs
