Are the ATM traces available for CFT for z/OS?
How to enable ATM traces on CFT for z/OS
Resolution
The ATM trace exists also for Transfer CFT for z/OS, details are available from the installationlibrary in members: TRACESEQ, TRACESTP and TRACEPRI
Those members provide all details to run the ATM on a CFT for z/os.
JCLs purpose:
TRACESEQ is used to define and enable the trace in a sequential file.
The value of PTRACE (Protocol TRACE) is already set : 24 (16 + 8):
- 8:Trace of the automaton engine.
- 16:PeSIT FPDU trace.
TRACESTP is used to stop the trace.
TRACEPRI is used to extract the trace to a file.
