Folder monitoring not working with Chinese character file names, same with basic SEND commands

Problem

Folder monitoring not working with Chinese character file names

SEND are also in error when the FNAME contains Chiness chars

Errors:

CFTR20E file "C:S001-??-0003.txt" contains invalid joker '?'

CFTF02E local file selection error 38373376 .....

CFTF30W SIFM ALLOC : FILE NOT EXIST <IDTU=.....

Resolution

For the FNAME, CFT support file names up to 512 chars including drive, path, root, suffix : limitations are only imposed by file system or operating system . (list of unauthorized characters , length restriction, letter case preservation )

To ensure the transportation of special chars (by the PeSIT) you need to set the below UCONF variable:

pesit.parameters.enable_encoding Defines if the PeSIT parameters should be encoded in UTF-8. This affects PI37, PI91 and PI99.

To ensure the FNAME can deal localy with Chinese (or other) chars, the system Regional Options must be set accordingly:
