KB Article #182359

The display of the full file name (FNAME) in the log is truncated

Problem

Tranfer CFT truncates the filename (path and actual name of the file) displayed in the log whenever the length exceeds a limit.
Tranfer CFT reserves a string length of 44 characters for the filename for the display.

Example:

filename :
C:\Windows\System32\en-US\Licenses\Volume\Professional\license.rtf

content of cftlog for the message id CFTT88I:
CFTT88I+<IDTU=A0000238 WORKINGDIR= FNAME=C:\Windows\System32\...fessional\license.rtf NBC=539 DURATION=0s>

Resolution

To get the full filename in the CFT log you can issue the command CFTUTIL WLOG MSG=&fname from an End Of Transfer exec script.
