The runtime is not accessible so it will not be upgraded

Problem

Encountered an error during the CFT upgrade from version 3.6 to 3.10, message appeared in install.log : "The runtime is not accessible so it will not be upgraded"

Resolution

The issue may be caused by the lack of the file ".transfer_cft.properties" in the runtime directory.


Please try following steps:

  • Verify system requirements, including OS configuration and user permissions.
  • Ensure the runtime directory specified in the file .rundir matchs the actual runtime location.
  • Check for the presence of the .transfer_cft.properties file in the installation directory.
  • Confirm the file .transfer_cft.properties exists in the runtime directory. If not, copy it from the installation directory and restart the upgrade process.
