Creating TopographyDiagrams

You can create new objects directly on the diagram and then complete the definition for each new object subsequently or you can position existing objects on the diagram.

To define a new TopographyDiagram:

  1. In the Topography workbench, select File > New > Topography > TopographyDiagram.
  2. Complete the General tab.

    Contents

    Name

    Enter a mandatory name for this TopographyDiagram. Respect the naming conventions. The name you enter here is used to reference a given TopographyDiagram throughout the software.

    Label

    Enter an optional free-text description for this TopographyDiagram. This text only appears on this tab.

    Status

    This field displays the current status of the TopographyDiagram, set to ToBeChecked by default. You cannot directly change the status in this field.

  3. Design your TopographyDiagram in the Diagram tab.
  4. In addition, the TopographyDiagram dialog box contains the following standard tabs:

  6. Signature

After you define a TopographyDiagram, you can send it to Server. This action sends all Axway Server definitions (and associated objects) to the run-time environment.
