Problem

BOM Web Services Executions and Map Deployments to Runtime over HTTPS require the usage of certificates.

Even when adding the Keystore (containing the certificates) in BOM Preferences > soapUI > SSL Settings the execution/deployment will fail and the following errors will be visible in the soapui-errors.log file:

2019-01-23 15:33:14,403 ERROR [errorlog] java.security.KeyStoreException: failed to extract any certificates or private keys - maybe bad password?
java.security.KeyStoreException: failed to extract any certificates or private keys - maybe bad password?

Resolution

The required certificate chains need to be manually imported into BOM\bin\jre\lib\security\cacerts
