About AS2

AS2 (Applicability Statement 2) is a protocol based on HTTP and SMIME. In AS2, files are sent as attachments in specially coded SMIME messages. AS2 messages are always sent using HTTP with the POST method. Messages are encrypted and signed.

1 Activate the EDIInt AS2 protocol
2 Create a Network Profile for the AS2 exchange
3 Create a Virtual File Directory for AS2

 

In PassPort

1 Create a Gateway security entity
2 Create the PassPort local partner and attach the security entity
3 Add the AS2 protocol to the local partner object
