Composer access management via PassPort: General installation procedure

Installing the products and tools

Use the Axway Installer to install the following elements:

• Database
• PassPort
• Composer
• Installation details

  During Composer installation:

  • Select the access management option: Passport AM
  • Note the value of the field Component ID in the server parameters page. (Default =Company)
  • Enter PassPort AM connection values:
    • Hostname
    • Port number
    • Component ID
    • Domain: Enter Synchrony

Checking the installation

4	Connect to PassPort
5	Configure SMTP
6	Import the CSD file
7	Check the Composer properties in PassPort
8	Add an administrative user and role for the product

Configure Composer

Composer settings for communication with PassPort were configured during Composer installation. There are no additional Composer configuration tasks necessary after installation.
